“I adore Tigers! In fact a huge cats-in-general lover. I've been fortunate to see Tiger in the wild many times (in India), in fact the last time was too close, picture a scene at dawn, mist lays softly over the jungle and as we rattled along a jungle track, the jeep slowed to take the bend around a huge clump of bamboo and as we swept the corner I found myself just 10 feet from a huge male Tiger! In fact we were both surprised to find one another so close and he and I both jumped! Fortunately the driver sped up and moved us to a safer distance but I will never forget that. 

The Siberian tiger alas I have only seen in zoos, hopefully one day I can see them in the wild or at least travel to see their habitat in Northern Europe where they are doing much better now”.
