Gallery by the Lakes is situated within The Makers Yard at Sculpture by the Lakes, an outstanding sculpture park and accredited Botanic Garden, set in twenty-six acres of beautiful Dorset countryside.
Created as an oasis for art lovers and collectors alike by renowned sculptor Simon Gudgeon and his wife, Monique, the sculpture on display and the gardens have continued to change and evolve since they opened the doors to their home to the public in 2010.
Gallery by the Lakes are proud to exhibit work by both local and international artists. We display a wide variety of work, from limited edition prints to original paintings. From small to monumental sculptures, all works are carefully chosen so we can offer the best possible pieces by exceptional artists.
The Makers Yard is comprised of The Gallery, The Store, and The Pantry. Entry to the Makers Yard is free, no entry ticket is needed. Here you can peruse an array of unique gifts in The Store, enjoy delicious fresh food in The Pantry, or browse the latest exhibition in The Gallery.
To see our latest and forthcoming shows, please check our exhibitions page.
Tickets to the park can be booked online at Sculpture by the Lakes
