"Following my exploration of paper folding and pleating, the ultimate aim was finding designs that could be folded or pleated directly in sheet metal, the result of which have fantastic potential to be scaled up to make monumental sculptures.
This was my very first form experimenting with this process. Although essentially a fairly basic folded form, with only a few sections. I think the simplicity of the design makes it a very successful sculpture, it is not overly complicated and the resulting angles and aperture made are extremely enjoyable.
