Screwed Bust’, for sale in Cold Cast Bronze (bronze resin) only (due to complexity of the cast), open edition.
This is Lockdown work from 2020. The first ‘Screwed’ piece consisted of screwing 4,500 screws into an existing wood original piece. The task was to originally transform the surface of the material from wood to metal, through the repetitive action of screwing into the wooden work. This monotonous experiment started a visually striking series of work which has an intriguing surface detail.
