We are looking forward to the upcoming solo exhibition of renowned sculptor Carol Peace at Sculpture by the Lakes, from April 26th to May 24th, 2025.
Visitors will have the opportunity to see Carol’s new and popular works in the free to enter gallery and courtyard situated in the Makers Yard. As you arrive look out for her sculpture Tightrope, newly installed in the pond at the entrance next to The Kitchen to accompany the show. There are also larger pieces on display throughout the park.
Carol Peace is celebrated for her beautiful and thought-provoking sculptures, often inspired by the natural world and the human condition. Her work is characterized by its delicate balance of form, texture, and material, inviting viewers to contemplate themes of beauty, fragility, and resilience.
Along with the new works in bronze and resin, there will be a new editioned publication created to share the thoughts and images behind Carol’s inspiration.
We are delighted that Carol will be joining us in the gallery for the Opening on April 26th from 10am, with a personal introduction to her exhibition at 11am and 2.30pm. All are welcome.
