We're delighted to welcome Tim Craven, founder of The Arborealists, to share the origins and evolution of this extraordinary artists' collective. Surrounded by the 40 works in the show, Tim will reflect on how his own artistic journey and long tenure at Southampton City Art Gallery shaped the collective's beginnings in 2013. He'll give insight to the group's ethos, membership, and their remarkable program of 40 exhibitions across the UK and abroad over the past 10 years, riding the contemporary demand for nature-themed art. Tim will aknowledge the numerous partner agencies, site-specific projects, and venues that have enriched The Arborealists' operations, as well as recent organisational developments aimed at ensuring the collective's long-term future.
