A special day in this exhibition of original paintings and drawings inspired by and created at Sculpture by the Lakes.
We are delighted to be able to offer visitors to the Sculpture Park an opportunity to meet Stephen Bithell. You are invited to spend time with Stephen, watching him paint and create original artworks from this unique, private location.
All pieces will be available to buy.
The Pavilion is limited to 7 visitors at any one time. We ask you to be mindful on the jetty during your visit, whilst listening and observing this artists' unique perceptions.
The day runs from 10am to 4.30pm and is free with entry to the park.
There will be 7 visitor passes at the gate to The Pavilion, please take one to enter and replace it as you leave.
Stephen Bithell is a well known local artist and a much loved regular visitor to Sculpture by the Lakes.
Working en plein air throughout the seasons his paintings, drawings and watercolours capture and document the ever changing atmosphere and moments of light, often reflected from the lakes - in all weathers.
The Pavilion is one of the hireable venues in the park, so the exhibition is exclusive to anyone spending the day there. If you are interested in Stephen's work, more pieces can be viewed in the gallery or on request.
