Come and visit the gallery to see Robin Mackenzie at work, he will be wood-engraving from 11 am - 3pm.
Robin is a printmaker specialising in the crafts of linocut and wood engraving. He graduated from Arts University Bournemouth in 2013 and has since gone on to create prints for The National Trust, The BBC, Ardbeg Whiskey, SAGA cruises and many others. He regularly exhibits his work around the UK and is an elected member of The Society of Wood Engravers. He created all the wood blocks for the film about Eric Ravilious, ‘Drawn to War’.
Robin works from his studio in Dorset using a traditional cast iron Albion Press to produce his prints and through his personal work, he explores the British coast and landscape.
Robin's work is included in our exhibition ‘Arbor: A Month of Trees’.
