In this exciting workshop we will spend our time taking in the beauty of the environs of Sculpture By The Lakes, and respond to the atmosphere, lines and shapes we see using drawing techniques in a variety of media. Rather than work towards a final piece to take home, the aim of the day is to consider how working with a variety of different techniques and materials informs how we look at our environment, and facilitates a greater degree of self expression.

About Lisa Takahashi
Lisa Takahashi is a practising artist, she exhibited at Gallery By The Lakes in 'Look Up! A Journey Through Printland'. She has taught linocut workshops for 8 years, including at Spike Print Studio in Bristol and the Albatross Print Studio in Watchet. LisaTakahashi has exhibited her prints extensively, including at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, New English Art Club and the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers. Lisa is a previous semi finalist of Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year and a judge/mentor in Channel 5s Watercolour Challenge.
