Katy Harrald is a traditional pencil artist and illustrator based in Dorset, specializing in highly detailed wildlife and botanical artworks. Raised in the New Forest and along the South Coast, her work has evolved into a celebration of British nature and coastal treasures.
Katy discovered her passion for pencil and graphite while studying Illustration at the Arts University Bournemouth, captivated by their simplicity and ability to produce complex detail and atmosphere.
Since graduating in 2014, Katy has exhibited her work extensively, both in the UK and abroad. Her pieces have been featured in solo shows, group exhibitions, charitable organizations, international magazines, books, and private collections.
