along the shore, especially on the tideline, where all sorts of things get
washed up - bits of rope, wooden things, plastic stuff and yes, balls. Sometimes I stop and pick them up. I wonder where they came from... What is their
story? Who lost their ball beyond the horizon? For me the seashore is full of
mystery which is probably why so much of my work is involved with it."
