Colin Moore was born on the Clyde Coast of Scotland in 1949. He studied architecture in Glasgow, and following an international career in architecture and design, has worked mainly as a painter and printmaker since 2004. He has lived in Spain, Venezuela and London and is now settled in Dorset, England. Known for his distinctive abstract style, his work often explores themes of identity, emotion, and perception, using a rich palette and dynamic compositions to convey complex ideas, creating pieces that are both visually striking and thought-provoking.
He has exhibited his work widely in galleries and art spaces, earning recognition for his unique artistic voice and contribution to contemporary art. His book, Propaganda Prints, art in the service of social and political change, was published by Bloomsbury in August of 2010.
